Luxuriously soft, the handwoven Charlotte is a traditional Turkish pestemal. Use it at the beach, in the sauna or by the pool, or as a hammam towel. It also makes an elegant pareo or scarf. At home, it works beautifully as a bath or shower towel or as a lightweight throw over the sofa.

The cotton becomes even softer, more supple and more absorbent with every wash and use.

Traditional Craftsmanship

The Charlotte towel comes from a pestemal workshop in Izmir, Turkey, where it is woven on traditional semi-automatic looms. Its warp-thread fringes are tied by women working from home. This weaving pattern has been used for Turkish hammam towels for centuries.
