Today, SAUNA & TUNES visited interbad 2026 in Stuttgart, and for us it was much more than a trade-fair visit.
We explored beautiful sauna rooms, experienced different woods, materials and designs up close, and tried products we had previously known partly only from catalogues. We also met existing partners in person, made new contacts and gathered many ideas for the future of SAUNA & TUNES.
Rediscovering traditional sauna
It was particularly lovely to see so many things that belong to Finnish sauna culture: birch branches, long sauna brushes, sauna hats, wooden buckets and small accessories for a personal sauna ritual.
Some things look very simple at first, until you hold them and realise how much material, workmanship and function matter.
We also discovered many new sauna, body-care and wellness products. These small things can turn a sauna round into a personal ritual.
Some may soon inspire new products or future gift sets at SAUNA & TUNES.
Sauna is increasingly an experience
We also saw how much modern sauna rooms are evolving.
Wood, light, warmth, design and atmosphere are being brought together more deliberately. Some saunas feel like little retreats: quiet, warm and deeply personal.
We saw simple, traditional solutions as well as exceptionally refined, modern cabins with every detail carefully considered.
And then we heard music.
Perhaps that was the loveliest surprise of the day.
Music was playing in several sauna rooms, or sound was a deliberate part of the experience.
For a brand called SAUNA & TUNES, that was a special moment.
It reminded us why we love the name: sauna need not always be experienced in the same way.
Some people love absolute quiet.
Others enjoy the sound of water on hot stones.
And some want to relax with music.
There is room for all of it.
Everyone has their own ritual. What is yours?
We went home with many photos, conversations, new contacts and even more ideas.
Some may soon find their way into our shop as new care products, accessories, gift ideas or perhaps even selected sauna solutions.
But our loveliest discovery was simple:
sauna can be traditional or modern, quiet or musical, simple or luxurious.
What matters is that it suits you.
